From Italy: Continue your drive from Nova Gorica, passing Tolmin, cross Vršič Pass, pass Kranjska Gora, Bled, Bohinska Bistrica to Bohinj. Continue your drive on the left side of the lake. After a few km you will arrive at Ukanc.
V bližini Bohinja se nahajajo tri mednarodna letališča - Ljubljansko letališče Brnik in Celovško letališče Alpe Adria ter letališče v Trstu. Letališča so povezana z mnogimi evropskimi in svetovnimi prestolnicami, uporabljata pa jih tudi nizkocenovna ponudnika EasyJet in RyanAir.
